Went got the IV reworked. Went saw oncologist today. All it did was bum me out. Blood work came back all good. We're going to go three more weeks on the antibiotics, then he wants to do a full MRI scan, and make some comparisons. Then he will give me some steroids and vitamins, anti side effect stuff, and start a new regiment of chemo. He's going to give me this stuff called Alimta. He said he likes it because the side effects are not so bad. (Look it up on the net, I found three pages of side effects).
I guessI shouldn't have asked the 20 questions. I inquired about some of this new pin point and gamma knife technology out there. He said it wouldn't do any good because of the size and quantity of tumors. I thought maybe we could work on the brain, MDA claims they can kill all of it, and then work on the other places. He wants to work on the other places with the chemo, and keep doing comparisons on the brain. So it looks like the brain is whats gonna git me. He was talking about terminal and hospice and shit like that. Moving on, this is bummin me out.

What ya'll doing for the game. If you're at the camp I might slide down there and watch it. Awful early to drink beer though. (ain't like it would be the first time) Otherwise probably watch it home, then about half time when it's 60-0 i'll get little work done around the house. Hows the back? Mine started on me Monday. Been running on Flexiril and Aleive.

Wanda's making noise about us getting together and go fishing. We were thinking somewhere around Big Lake, she wants to get on some fish. We could come ya'lls way, maybe get Tim to bring the big boat. Think about, and remember I'm a flexable MF right now. And uncle 'B' is coming back from St. Croix next Thursday, so he'll have a pocket full of money we can play with.

Ok just let me know what ya'll get figured out. The fishing can actually get better over there in the winter when the trout start moving up the river into the deep holes .... ( I know where those are! )Just need a few cold fronts. I've had some awesome trips (100+ FISH)over there in the fall and winter.

I am sure we can window in a Big Lake. I will be tighly booked up to the wedding oct 19. But I know the reds warm up in Nov. Don't rule out the catfish and bass at Crosy MS. Better fishing than hunting.
Hey, Crosby might be better doable, to make wanda happy, she just wants to catch a fish. I forgot about the wedding. That sure is close. I wouldn't be able to go that quick anyway, I've got to get rid of this IV thing (2 wks) before I can do stuff like that, but sitting on the pier drinkin beer sounds good to me.
