MERRY CHRISTMAS

Yeah, I know, what are you doing on the computer on Christmas Day ? Hey, finally winding down from all the goins ons. I feel like I'm running on gumbo and potatoe salad. Did eat me a big ole hunk (i mean big ole) of cheese cake and milk last night. Been eating all kinds of stuff. I guess the apetite is back.

This time of year makes it hard to eat a cancer diet though. Of course if you listen to and beleive everything, it's all bad for you. Think my beers cold now.

Well just thought I would drop a line and say MERRY CHRISTMAS.

THIS ONE IS A MUTHA

Had my chemo treatment 12/5 last Wednesday. I got my new drugs TAXOTERE and AVISTAN. Man I think if this stuff had side effects, I got em all. It kicked my butt, had me down pretty much until today. It causes muscle, joint aches - had that pretty bad. Nausea/vomiting- had that, but got some drugs for it. Dry mouth, nothing taste like anything or you throw it up.

I'm telling ya the muscle aches and the stomach problems, pain you wouldn't believe. But it's tapering off. Now I have to look forward to the other side effects (7-10 day out stuff). Low WBC, hair loss (do da),Fluid retention, I'm bloated, skin rash, got that, fatigue, weakness, lack of energy, got all that, numbness, got that, difficulty with motor skills, yep I'm about goofy.

Well I go back on the 12th for another treatment. He split em up, because I can't take the GEZMAR and the TAXOTERE together. It would be like Katrina and Rita mixed together.

Well ok, will post again after the treatment and lab results.
